The water reflects sunlight back up at you, so you get more UV than youβd expect. The fabric is rated UPF 50 and blocks most UVA and UVB rays from your torso and arms. It wonβt wash off in the waves or wear off by noon. Keep using sunscreen on your face, neck and hands.
Made for repeated motion
Paddling into a wave or holding a steady kayak stroke works your shoulders hard. A 90/10 polyester and spandex blend stretches in every direction and recovers without bagging. Raglan sleeves keep seams off the tops of your shoulders, and underarm gussets give you room to reach. With no tag at the neck, thereβs one less thing rubbing over a long day.
Dries quickly between sessions
Wet fabric that clings and sags gets old fast. This fabric pulls water and sweat off your skin and spreads them across the surface, so it dries quickly once youβre out of the water and feels lighter on the walk back up the beach.
A layer for every season
The trim fit makes it easy to layer. Wear it under a wetsuit on cold mornings to keep neoprene off your skin, over a swimsuit at midday, or on its own for an evening walk along the shore.
